Mental health and wellbeing of children over the transition from primary to secondary school Research Survey

Thank you for your interest in our study on the mental health and wellbeing of children over the transition from primary to secondary school.  If you are a health and/or education professional who works with young people (8-15 years) who have language and/or literacy difficulties we would like to hear from you.

Participation involves a one-to-one interview with a member of the research team. The interview will take approx. 45 minutes and will explore your perspectives on mental health and wellbeing in the context of language and/or literacy difficulties including your views on risk/protective factors and mental health support. We will also be interviewing young people and their caregivers.

This research is funded by the Australian Government's Medical Research Futures Fund (MRFF) and is being conducted in partnership with a range of community organisations.

More information about the study including a consent form can be found at the link here

Please complete the following survey and we will get back to you to answer any questions you may have and/or to schedule an interview. If you would prefer to first discuss this project before committing to participation please contact project lead Prof. Mark Boyes [08 9266 7025; mark.boyes@curtin.edu.au].
