We are sharing this research opportunity on behalf of researchers investigating the impact of commercial cigarette smoking on health and physiology among Native American adults.

Participants may qualify if they:
• Identify as Native American
• Smoke cigarettes daily
• Are 18 years of age or older

The study includes two in-person visits to assess physiology, and eligible participants may receive up to $520 in compensation.

This is an independent research study and is not an Osage Nation Health System program or study. We are sharing this information as a community resource for those who may be interested.

  Syracuse University is conducting a study on stressful events and alcohol and substance use. Participation would involve completing surveys and interview assessments for 2 hours with the research team.   You can participate online or in-person in Syracuse, NY.   If you are 18 – 65 years old, drink alcohol, have experienced a stressful life event, agree to consent to audio recording, live within the U.S. and have a valid email address, you may be eligible to participate!
