Seeking paid participants for a study on the role of social media on body perception!!

Hi everyone! I'm currently seeking female participants for my Honours study on the role of social media on body adaptation and dissatisfaction.

Compensation: Participants will receive a $10 e-gift card as a token of appreciation for their time and participation.

Description: The study will consist of a computer task. You will view several different bodies and then be asked to make judgments on what a ‘normal’ body size looks like. You will also answer a few body (dis)satisfaction scales. 

Location: The Australian Hearing Hub (Level 1, 16 University Avenue, Macquarie University, NSW). This is a wheelchair accessible space. (Please wait by the couches on Level 1).

Eligibility Requirements: Participants:

●      Must be females aged 18-30

●      Must have normal or corrected-to-normal vision

●      Must not currently (or previously) have been diagnosed with any eating disorders or Body Dysmorphic Disorder

Paid Research Study on Alcohol, Substance Use, and Stress through Syracuse University

  Syracuse University is conducting a study on stressful events and alcohol and substance use. Participation would involve completing surveys and interview assessments for 2 hours with the research team.   You can participate online or in-person in Syracuse, NY.   If you are 18 – 65 years old, drink alcohol, have experienced a stressful life event, agree to consent to audio recording, live within the U.S. and have a valid email address, you may be eligible to participate!
