Paid Study on VR Gesture Learning in Toronto

Hi everyone! We are researchers from the University of Toronto, looking to recruit participants for a study exploring how virtual reality and hand tracking can support gesture learning. During the session, you will wear a VR headset and learn a series of hand movements.

Duration*:* ~75 minutes
Compensation*:* $20 cash
Location*:* BA 5166 (DGP Lab), Bahen Centre for Information Technology, 40 St. George St., 5th floor, Toronto, ON
Eligibility*:* You may be eligible if you are 18–40 years old, right-handed, have normal or corrected-to-normal vision, and can comfortably perform repeated hand and arm movements. No previous VR experience is required.

  Syracuse University is conducting a study on stressful events and alcohol and substance use. Participation would involve completing surveys and interview assessments for 2 hours with the research team.   You can participate online or in-person in Syracuse, NY.   If you are 18 – 65 years old, drink alcohol, have experienced a stressful life event, agree to consent to audio recording, live within the U.S. and have a valid email address, you may be eligible to participate!
