Dr. Joseph Winberry and his team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are seeking to interview older adults (55+) living in Queens, NY as part of a research study on how libraries and librarians can best serve older adults. Even if you have never used a public library, your insights are still valuable! 

Participants living outside of Chapel Hill, NC will be interviewed over Zoom or by phone. Participants will receive a $30 gift card for a 60-minute, audio recorded interview in English. Please note that to be paid for your participation, you must provide a physical address within Queens, NY that we will mail the gift card to.   Syracuse University is conducting a study on stressful events and alcohol and substance use. Participation would involve completing surveys and interview assessments for 2 hours with the research team.   You can participate online or in-person in Syracuse, NY.   If you are 18 – 65 years old, drink alcohol, have experienced a stressful life event, agree to consent to audio recording, live within the U.S. and have a valid email address, you may be eligible to participate!
