I’m a Tumblr user studying Tumblr. My research team at Rutgers University’s School of Communication and Information is conducting a study about Tumblr, specifically, “Perceptions and Practices of Returning to Tumblr.” We’re looking at why younger people are coming back or joining Tumblr and generally using other “older” technologies, as compared to TikTok or Instagram.

We’re looking for interview participants, so if you’re interested in being interviewed, are Gen Z (born in or after 1997) and have recently started using Tumblr and/or returned to it, please reach out!! They’ll be virtual interviews with flexible timings to discuss your experiences on Tumblr, your thoughts about today’s tech culture, and the return to older technologies.

  Syracuse University is conducting a study on stressful events and alcohol and substance use. Participation would involve completing surveys and interview assessments for 2 hours with the research team.   You can participate online or in-person in Syracuse, NY.   If you are 18 – 65 years old, drink alcohol, have experienced a stressful life event, agree to consent to audio recording, live within the U.S. and have a valid email address, you may be eligible to participate!
