Principal Investigator: Sophia Sodano, BS, TLLP
Faculty Advisor: Adam Briggs, PhD, BCBA-D
Invitation to Participate in Research
Thank you for considering participating in our research study!
We are conducting a research study to better understand training and supervision practices within our field. This survey is the third in a series of studies that began with DiGennaro Reed and Henley (2015) and continued with Blackman et al. (2022). Our survey also explores diversity-related training, burnout, and perceptions of training.
You are being asked to participate in this survey because (a) you are over the age of 18, (b) speak English, and (c) are currently working in the ABA field as a BCBA-D, BCBA, BCaBA, RBT, or other direct support professionals.
Voluntary Participation
Participation is voluntary, and you may stop at any time. If you choose to participate, you will complete an online survey lasting approximately 30 minutes. The survey includes questions about your (a) background (e.g., age, race/ethnicity, certification), (b) your experiences with training and supervision, (c) the support you receive in your current role, and your current level of burnout.
Study Compensation, Benefits, and Risks
You will not be paid for participating in this study; however, you may choose to enter a raffle for a chance to win one of several $30 gift cards. While there may be no direct benefit, your participation will help researchers better understand training and supervision practices in the ABA field and may increase your awareness of your role within your organization.
